About The Role:

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 17:00 & Fri - 08:00 - 15:30

We are looking for a solution-driven Senior Project Manager to deliver multidisciplinary projects across HVAC, M&E and fit-out/building fabric works. Projects vary in size, scope and complexity, requiring a flexible, proactive approach and the ability to recognise when additional support is needed.

The Frameworks Division has a healthy pipeline of projects through multi-year national client frameworks, including DWP, GPA, CCS, NatWest Critical Environment & CIP, Scottish Water, ScottishPower, SSE, Brookfield Properties, Pagabo and Fusion21.

Working alongside the Regional Operations Manager, you will manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring efficient use of resources and delivery within agreed budgets and timescales.

Client Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their requirements and perspectives.
  • Develop project proposals that meet the client’s scope, budget and programme.
  • Agree measurable KPIs and ensure client satisfaction.

Resource Management

  • Manage, develop and empower project teams, setting clear targets and maximising efficiency.
  • Manage supply chain partners and support contract mobilisation.
  • Ensure project personnel have the skills and training required for their roles.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Health & Safety and Procurement teams.

Engineering & Project Delivery

  • Develop client scopes, technical solutions, proposals and costs with the wider OCS team.
  • Engage suppliers and subcontractors to optimise solutions.
  • Deliver design and build projects and manage building services installations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Organise, chair and record project meetings.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, driving continuous improvement.

Commercial

  • Develop knowledge of NEC and other forms of contract.
  • Maintain financial control, maximise opportunities and improve margins.
  • Manage contract changes and ensure timely reporting.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of five years’ experience delivering comparable projects.
  • Experience in office refurbishment and fit-out projects.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, plan resources and recognise when support is needed.
  • Proven ability to manage, develop and motivate a team.
  • A deadline-driven approach and commitment to personal and team development.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Professional manner and excellent customer service skills.
  • Confident, enthusiastic and reliable.
