About The Role:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (occasional evening work will be required) 

You may be required to travel up to 90 - 120 minutes of your location.
 
Travel is paid after first 30 minutes. Frequent overtime (overtime rates - time & half, double time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Fixed Wire Testing / EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), and associated remedial works. This may include: 
    • Distribution Board Replacements 
    • Partial Re-wires 
    • Accessory Replacements  
    • General Upgrades 
    • Fault Finding 
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and company standards. 
  • Complete and submit accurate electrical certification and job reports. 
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Fixed Wire Testing Team to ensure the timely completion of remedial tasks. 
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times. 

Essential Hiring Criteria:

  • Experience in fixed wire testing (EICRs) and electrical remedial works
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, and industry best practice. 
  • Excellent communication, and organisational skills. 
  • Full UK driving licence. 
  • Must have strong IT literacy. 
  • Competent in completing electronic certification. 
  • IPAF (Desirable) 
  • PASMA (Desirable)  

Essential Qualifications:

  • A craft qualification such as, a recognised electrical apprenticeship (ie. City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2, or equivalent to)
  • The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
  • C&G Inspection and Testing 2391-52
  • Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
